About Us
Or Hagalil Congregation is a community of Jews and Gentiles who believe that Yeshua is the Messiah. We are committed to our faith and believe that through the Messiah Yeshua all who believe can have new life, peace and unity.
We care for our community and demonstrate this in a variety of ways including weekly meetings, seminars, Bible studies and community service projects.
We are located in Nahariyya in Western Galilee which is the northern most city in Israel on the Mediterranean Coast.
Nahariyya was established during the Fifth Aliyah between the years 1933-1936. The majority of the initial settlers were Jews who fled Germany. Nahariyya was established initially as an agricultural settlement in 1935, but soon after businesses were established and gradually developed a broader economic base.
The Ga’aton River flows through the heart of the city and came to be known as simply the “River – Nahariyya.” For some of the early settlers it was reminiscent of their towns and villages in Europe that had rivers running through them.
Nahariyya is made up of a mosaic of people from Morocco, Ethiopia, Russia, Ukraine, England, France, Argentina and of course, America. On the streets you hear lots of languages, even Hebrew and Arabic.
Today, Nahariyya is a thriving community and business center for much of Western Galilee. It is a place where people work and come to relax on our beautiful beaches and parks.

Statement Of Faith
We believe the Bible consists of both the Tenach and the New Testament.
We believe that God is one, eternal and all powerful Creator of all things.
We believe that Messiah Yeshua died for our sins, according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. By His resurrection from among the dead, the Son of Man, Yeshua the Messiah is openly shown to be the Son of God. Is 52: 13 – 53:12; Hosea 6:2; Psalm 16:10; Matthew 1:21-23; 12:40; John 2:19-22.
We believe mankind has fallen from God’s intention and we can be restored through the Messiah Yeshua.
We believe the Bible consists of both the Tenach and the New Testament and is the fully authoritative, final, and God-inspired written word and revelation of God to man concerning Himself, His Son, His Kingdom, and all things pertaining to life and godliness, salvation and judgment. Gen 1 – 11; Deut 4:12-14; 18:15-22; Psalm 12:6; 138:2; Proverbs 30:4-6; Matthew 5:17-19; 24:35; John 14:6; 2Tim 3:16-17; Revelation 22:18-19.
We believe that is our God is one, eternal, Creator of the heavens and the Earth (the Universe) and the Redeemer of His creation. Gen 1; Ex 20:3; Deut 6:4-5; Is 48:16; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1; 5:19-23.
We believe that Messiah Yeshua died for our sins, according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. By His resurrection from among the dead, the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, is openly shown to be the Son of God. Is 52: 13 – 53:12; Hosea 6:2; Psalm 16:10; Matthew 1:21-23; 12:40; John 2:19-22.
We believe in that Yeshua is fully man and fully God, because He is the Messiah. He came in the flesh, sent by God the Father to redeem and to save all people from the consequence of their sins through the forgiveness of sins. Gen 3:15; Leviticus 16; Is 7:14; 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-23; 24:30; Luke 3:23-38; John 1:29; 10:36; 17:3-8; 19:19-20; Romans 3:21-22; 9:3-5; 1Cor 12:3; Philippians 2:6-11; 1Pet 2:22-24.
We believe the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) is a unique being (Genesis 1:2; John 15:26-27; 2 Corinthians 13:14). He possesses all the distinct attributes of deity and is with one God (I Corinthians 2:10-11). He does not call attention to Himself and is ever present (Psalm 139:7) to glorify and testify of Messiah Yeshua (John 15:26).
We believe that Man was created in the image and in the likeness of God, but afterwards sinned by disobeying God his Creator, thus causing alienation between him and God, and between the man and his wife. But is the desire of God, the Father to restore all creation to fellowship and peace with Him.
